OUR RATES

* Minimum Fee:  All jobs are subject to a minimum billing fee of $25 for small one-time only jobs. If there is additional work, the jobs are then charged at either our by-the-typed-line rate or our hourly rate and a portion of the minimum fee will be applied to subsequent jobs.
* Included in our rates:  Included in our rates are spell-checking, grammar checking, proofing and printing of one copy to proof and one final copy (maximum of 25 pages) and all local call FAXes or Emails to customers. Additional printed pages will be charged .04 cents per page.
* Down Payment:   Jobs with an estimated cost of $200 or more and large projects that will take several weeks or more to complete may be subject to a down payment with interim payments..
* Basic Hourly Rate:  Our basic hourly rate ranges from $12.00 to $25 per hour, depending upon the job.                                                                                        * Payment methods:   At this time, we only accept checks, money orders or cash.  NO credit cards.                                                                                                               * Typing:  Typing is charged By-the-Typed Line as recorded in the Properties Statistics section of a Word document. Our rates range from .10 cents per-typed-line to .18 cents per-typed-line depending upon the type and complexity of the topic being typed i.e. medical, technical terminology or financial data. (For details on how this rate is determined, refer to the Rate Determination page in this site.) Once the text portion of the document is complete, if the addition of images, tables, graphs, figures, diagrams, special formatting and other information is required, the charge will be at our basic hourly rate. Our rates for various sources is as follows:
Document typing from typed source: .from .10 to 12 per-typed-line
* Document typing from handwritten source: .11 to .13 per-typed-line
* Legal, medical, financial, technical:  .13 to .16 per-typed-line
* Term Papers, Thesis, Dissertations:  .12 per-typed-line (Text only. Does NOT include style formatting.)
* Special Formatting:  Our basic hourly rate
* Changes and/or formatting of an existing file from customer:  Our basic hourly rate
* Desktop Publishing:   $17.00 per hour
* Transcription: Transcription rates range from .10 per-typed-line to .18 per-typed-line. (For details on how this rate is determined, refer to the Rate Determination page in this site.)
* Data Entry:   Setup Fee $5.00 plus .05 cents per field. (For details on how this rate is determined, refer to the Rate Determination page in this site.)
* Sorting and manipulation of spreadsheet and/or database information:   Our basic hourly rate.
* Presentations:   $20 per hour
* Document Conversion from Printed Text to Computer File: Our basic hourly rate
* Scanning:   Our basic hourly rate
* Video Taping and/or creation of videos:   $25 per hour in addition to mileage (current rate designated by the IRS) to and from                                                           * VCR Tape Conversion to Video files:  $25.00 an hour                                  * Saving/burning of DVD's and/or CD's:  Our normal hourly rate..
* Internet Research:   Our basic hourly rate
* Mass Mailing Tasks: .05 cents per task. Tasks include Fold, Stuff, Seal, affix Stamps and affix Labels. If trips to the Post Office are necessary, mileage (current rate designated by the IRS) will be charged as well as the time at our basic hourly rate. The printing cost of supplies for letters, labels and envelopes and stamps are charged separately.
* Mail Merge:  Mail Merge is charged at our basic hourly rate for the time involved to create the primary document with the appropriate fields so it can be merged with a database record (i.e. form letter, labels, envelopes, postcards etc.) and the time to merge the primary file with a database record then save as one file for printing.
* Forms Fill-in:   Our basic hourly rate (Fill-in only)                                                       * Forms Creation/Design:    $17.00 per hour. 
* Miscellaneous Items:   Our basic hourly rate
* Special paper requirements:   If the job requries special paper for printing, there will be an additional charge depending upon the cost of the paper..
* CD’s and/or DVD’s:   If required for providing copies of files to the customer, there will be an additional charge of $1.00 for each disc.
* Printing Costs:   We print using laser printers and inkjet printers. We do NOT do mass printing. We will print up to 100 copies for our customers. For mass printing (over 100 copies) or publications, we work closely with reliable reputable printers/publishers to provide this service to our customers.
Our printing costs include plain 20 lb. bond white paper stock.
Special paper, envelopes, postcards, labels etc. will be an additional charge depending upon the item and cost.
Two-sided printing is charged double the regular rate.
Documents containing graphics, photographs etc. will be extra.                                     8 ½” x 11” Documents – Black Ink .04 Cents each

* Proofing & Editing:   We work with professional proof readers and ghost writers to provide this service to our customers.
* Graphics Design:   We work with several professional graphics designers to provide this service to our customers.
* Rush Jobs:  Rush jobs may be assessed an additional fee of $1.00 per hour for hourly rate jobs, $ .02 cents per-typed-line for documents charge by-the-typed-line and $.02 per field for data entry work. All jobs that require working after normal office hours by customer request to complete will be considered Rush Jobs and billed accordingly.
* Delivery Services:  The cost for local faxing or emailing of documents to customer during the course of the job will be included in the cost of the work. All U.S. Mail, Express Delivery and Courier Service charges will be billed to customer at cost.               * Long Distance Calls/Faxes:  All long distance calls required by customer during the course of the job will be billed to the customer.
* Setup Fees:  Certain jobs that require a setup willl be assessed a setup fee.
* Recordings:   If it is necessary for us to record sound tracks from VCR tapes, CD’s, DVD’s or from the Internet, the time for recording will be charged at our normal hourly rate.
* Research:   Research time for graphics, data, names and addresses and/or photographs and any required editing of graphics or photographs to be included in documents will be billed at our basic hourly rate.
* Document changes:  Additions or revisions: Four (4) changes by the customer per job will be included at no additional charge. All requests for changes by the customer over four (4) may be billed in accordance with the rate the job is being charged. Changes and/or corrections made AFTER the customer has “signed off” on the proof and the job has been printed will be billed in accordance with the job rate.
