ABOUT OUR SERVICES
Businesses & Self-Employed: We provide "virtual, remote" sub-contract services to businesses and self-employed individuals who want to "outsource" their work on a “by the job – as needed” basis. Refer to the Outsoucing - How it Works page in this site for details. No contracts required!
We are at your disposal to assist you in expediting short term jobs, when you are under-staffed, experiencing work overload or with those special projects you or your staff don't have the computer expertise, software, equipment or time to handle.
Writers and other individuals: One of our specialties is typing Family Histories and/or novels with the inclusion of photos and historic documents. If desired, we assist our customers in publication. To get you started, we can provide you with complete details and instructions on how to organize information and ideas of what to write about. FOUR NEW SERVICES OFFERED BEGINNING JAN., 2012
1. Q. R. Codes: We can now create a
Q.R. (Quick Response) Code for your books and other promotional material. Q.R. Codes are scanable boxes like bar codes containing code encripted text information about your book, web site and more that can be scanned and stored in any cell phone with a camera. These coded boxes can be put on books, in magazine ads and many different advertising and promotional items. For more information about Q.R. Codes, please contact us.
2. Testing the readability and other important data about your manuscript: We can take the text material from your manuscript and enter it into a program that will analyze the text and give you statistical feedback on the readability of the material in addition to other important information about the grammar, sentence structure, citations, bibliographies, etc. Great for term papers, dissertations, text books and other informative material as well as novels and instructional material written for publication. 3. Uploading/downloading large files: If you are not able to bring your work to us, we have a DropBox account, (a free internet storage site). You can open your own free DropBox account, create a folder for TPCD then upload large files to that folder. After giving us authorization to access that folder, we can download the file(s) to work on them. The completed documents can either be uploaded to your DropBox account for you to access or we can email them to you. If your documents are still in printed form, you can take them to any office supply store where they can scan the documents to create a PDF or Word Processing file to upload to your DropBox account.
4. New Payment method: We can now accept payments through PayPal as well as credit card payments through PayPal. (Customer will be obligated to pay any and all fees charged for the use of PayPal.)
